Texas Junior Golf Tour

The Elites Cup Invitational is an annual invitation-only tournament consisting of 21 boys and 21 girls. Players earn invitations in one of two ways:

- Winning an Elite Series event on the TJGT in the given season

- Earning one of the 5 at-large invitations due to achievements on the golf course in outside tournaments and high JGS/GolfWeek rankings.

There is no entry fee into the Elites Cup, players are only responsible for covering their practice round, if they wish to play one. Players will receive a special tee gift package with items from various tournament sponsors and partners - past partners have included Adidas, UnderArmour, FootJoy, TaylorMade, Imperial, Sony, Lululemon and more. 

Players wishing to apply for one the of at-large spots must do so through the Elites Cup website, www.elitescupinvitational.com. Please read the application process carefully, as incomplete applications will not be reviewed. 

The at-large application will open April 1. The deadline for applications is July 1, and invitations will be e-mailed out after that. Any additional spots vacated by an exempt player will be filled from the application pool when they occur. 

Players that are exempt via a victory in one of the exempt tournaments do not need to submit an application. View a list of exempt tournaments here. 

Players earn entry into the Elites Cup Invitational in one of two ways:

- Winning specified Elite Series events in a given season on the TJGT

- Securing an at-large invitation based on JGS/GolfWeek Rankings, victories in other prestigious tournaments, high school state champions, etc.

Acceptance Process for Qualifiers Before May 1
Invitations for players that qualify in a tournament before May 1 will be mailed out starting April 1st. Players will have until Sunday, May 29th to accept or decline their invitation. Once the deadline passes, or a player declines, his or her spot will be offered to another player out of the pool of applicants. If a player declines their spot, there is no guarantee a spot will be available later if the player changes their mind.

Acceptance Process for Qualifiers After May 31
Invitations for players that qualify in a tournament after May 1 will be handed out to the player at the conclusion of the event. A player will then have 7 days to accept or decline the invitation. Once the deadline passes, or a player declines, his or her spot will be offered to another player out of the pool of applicants. If a player declines their spot, there is no guarantee a spot will be available later if the player changes their mind.

Acceptance Process for At-Large Applicants
The application for at-large participants opens April 1. Applications must be submitted through the Elites Cup website - www.elitescupinvitational.com. The final deadline is July 1. After July 1, players will be notified via e-mail of their invitation into the tournament. A player will have 7 days from the sent e-mail to accept or decline the invitation. Once the deadline passes, or a player declines, his or her spot will be offered to another player out of the pool of applicants. If a player declines their spot, there is no guarantee a spot will be available later if the player changes their mind.

The following players are exempt into the 2022 Elites Cup Invitational. Note, exempt players still must accept invitation and register online to participate in the tournament. Initial invitations will be sent out April 4. Players not exempt may apply for at-large admittance via the Elites Cup website - www.elitescupinvitational.com. At-large applications for each gender will be selected for the tournament.

The TJGT tournament staff reserves the right to alter the yardage posted come tournament time for any reason - weather, course conditions, pace of play, etc - but will strive to have the competition tees set as close to, if not exactly on, the yardages posted for each division.

It is the responsibility of the player when playing a practice round to practice from the yardage posted on the TJGT website; tournament tees are set the day of the first round, not before. The TJGT is not responsible for where the tees are set at a golf course on non-tournament days; we recommend playing a practice round from the yardage specified on the tournament information page, regardless of where course tees are set on a given day, as those tees may not accurately reflect the yardage played during the tournament.

Unfortunately, due to Covid19 situation, we do not have a group block at the Four Seasons.  There are several nice properties within a few miles of the golf course.
